Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Credentialing Coordinator at Protera Health. The Credentialing Coordinator will be responsible for credentialing, managing medical staff credentialing processes, communicating with stakeholders, providing customer service, and utilizing medical terminology.

This role is anticipated to be approximately 10-15 hours per week with possible expansion in hours as needed.

Qualifications

  • MUST: have experience overseeing and managing delegated credentialing with health insurance plans
  • MUST: have strong project management skills with regards to staff-wide credentialing and licensing
  • MUST: have working knowledge of core regulatory requirements (NCQA) with delegated credentialing
  • Credentialing and Medical Staff Credentialing skills
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working in healthcare administration or related field
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
